Thomas Lynch was born and raised in the Great Lakes region of the U.S. He is a product of Catholic school education since the sixth grade, Jesuit educated since high school, culminating in a Bachelor’s of Economics as well as a Masters of Urban Education, both from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Mr. Lynch is a highly motivated and committed educator whose experience includes an extensive career background in media and consulting, teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), Social Studies and Humanities. Mr. Lynch began his career in the classroom at East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL) in Shanghai, China, where he held a Foreign Expert Certificate in publishing and education issued by the People's Republic of China from 2007-2014. His subsequent work led him teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) programs at local Southern California private and Catholic schools. In 2015, Thomas began teaching as an English, Social Studies and Humanities teacher at the high school level. Most recently, Mr. Lynch was a full-time faculty member at St. Bernard High School in Playa Del Rey, CA, teaching AP U.S. Government and Politics, Honors World History, and Economics. Along with his faculty status at St. Bernard, he was also STAR Testing Coordinator, Data Librarian for WASC/WCEA, and the school’s Model United Nations Team Advisor.
